Investor questions

Questions, answered directly

Structure, liquidity, custody and fees — the areas where vague answers cost investors the most.

The fund

What exactly is Atlas Crypto Fund Vault?

Atlas is a digital asset investment fund operating a crypto money market mandate. It allocates across stablecoin liquidity, hedged carry positions and short-duration digital assets with the objective of generating yield above cash rates while maintaining published liquidity and limiting directional market exposure.

Investors hold a single position in the vault. The allocation between underlying strategy sleeves is managed by the investment committee within published limits.

Is this a savings account or a deposit?

No. It is an investment fund. There is no deposit guarantee, no principal protection and no fixed rate of return. The value of your holding can fall as well as rise, and in severe scenarios you may lose the entire amount invested.

What return should I expect?

Atlas targets a return above short-term dollar cash rates, but does not promise a specific figure. Returns vary with funding conditions, staking economics, lending demand and prevailing rates. Historical or protocol-reported yields describe past conditions and are not a forecast.

How is my return actually generated?

From four identifiable sources: funding paid by leveraged traders in perpetual futures markets, staking rewards for securing proof-of-stake networks, interest from over-collateralised lending, and income passed through by reserve-backed stablecoin issuers. Performance reporting decomposes returns by source.

Liquidity & dealing

How quickly can I withdraw?

The fund deals on a published cycle against net asset value, with settlement subject to the liquidity buffer. Private access vaults carry separate lock-up terms disclosed before subscription. This site does not promise same-day exit outside those terms.

What is a redemption gate and when would you use one?

A gate temporarily limits the proportion of the fund that can be redeemed in a single dealing cycle. It exists to protect remaining investors in stressed conditions. Any gate would be disclosed publicly with a stated rationale and review date.

At what price do subscriptions and redemptions execute?

At the next net asset value struck after your instruction is received and processed — forward pricing — so investors do not transact at a stale price at the expense of existing holders.

Are there any exit penalties?

No exit penalty applies to standard redemptions from the core sleeves. Private access vaults may apply a fee for early exit before term, disclosed in the relevant vault terms before you subscribe.

Custody & safety

Who holds the assets?

Assets are distributed across custody tiers: deep cold storage for long-term reserves, an operational multi-signature environment for strategy collateral, and the minimum viable balance at trading venues required to maintain hedges.

Can any single person move fund assets?

No. Critical transfers require a quorum of independent signers. Destination allow-lists and value thresholds are enforced at the signing layer.

What happens if a stablecoin the fund holds loses its peg?

De-peg risk is managed through issuer diversification, ongoing review of reserve composition and redemption record, and de-risking thresholds. Severe de-peg scenarios are included in regular stress testing.

How do I know the reserves actually exist?

Reserve and liability information is published so claims can be checked against verifiable materials and on-chain state. Proof methods have limits — which is why paired liability disclosure and refresh discipline matter. Always read the operative documents.

Fees, eligibility & contact

What fees are charged?

A management fee accrued on net asset value, a performance fee charged only above a stated hurdle and subject to a high-water mark, and operating expenses covering audit, custody, transaction and administration costs. All are deducted before the reported net return.

What does the high-water mark protect me from?

Being charged twice for the same gain. Performance fees do not re-apply until the unit value exceeds the previous high-water mark.

Who can invest?

Eligibility depends on jurisdiction and investor classification, assessed during onboarding alongside identity, source of funds and suitability checks. Private access vaults are restricted to qualified investors only.

How are gains taxed?

Tax treatment depends on your country of residence and personal circumstances. Atlas does not provide tax advice. Consult a qualified tax adviser.

How would Atlas contact me?

Only through the official domain and verified channels. Atlas will never ask for your password, authentication code, seed phrase or private key. Treat any communication that does as fraudulent.
